"Charlie"
This doe-eyed cutie is Charlie, a 3-year old Dachsund Mix with an adorable brown & black coat. Charlie is a sweet boy who can be very loyal and active. He may need some time to adjust to a new home and surroundings, but an understanding owner will do wonders for him. He should do fine sharing a new home with some other dogs and dog savvy cats. He doesn't enjoy a lot of rough housing and needs his own space, so respectful children over the age of 15 are the only ones he can handle. Charlie could use some assistance with his socialization skills and learning basic obedience, so attending an obedience class would be good for him. Luckily, we offer such a class at the shelter with discounted rates for adoptees.
