Sweet as can be and ready for a forever home, Joey is a 1-and-a-half year old Labrador mix with a handsome salt & pepper colored coat. Joey is a very calm and reserved boy who may take a while to become adjusted to a new home. A family who will give him time and help in adjusting to new surroundings will help him immensely. He should do well getting along with other dogs and dog savvy cats, as well as respectful children who won't overwhelm him too quickly. Attending an obedience class, which we offer here at the shelter with discounted rates for adoptees, will not only help Joey with his confidence and socialization skills, but be a great way to bond with his new owners as well.
