Irene *In foster care*
You know that saying, “Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise?”
Well, I’ve taken it to heart – I like to spend plenty of time all throughout the day napping and I LOVE to wake up with the sun for my breakfast. Thanks to my friends at AWS, including my foster mom, I consider myself healthy*, I consider myself wealthy because I have love and safety (though I’d love more) and I consider myself wise after 13 years on this good Earth.
So if you’re an early riser who has lots of love to give, please consider adopting me. I’m in foster care right now so you’ll have to call AWS to set up an appointment to meet me. Trust me, it’s worth it. I’m a soft, sweet gal who wants nothing more than a happy retirement home.
PS – If you think lap cats are annoying, I’m with you. I’m not a lap cat, my foster mom would say I’m a “sit next to your lap cat.” That’s right. I’m happiest snuggled into my own comfy spot, whether that’s next to you on the couch, on the bed or on the arm of a recliner.
*I do have feline diabetes, but thanks to the good care I’ve received at AWS, I am currently “in remission” and don’t require insulin shots. That’s not to say that might change in the future, but for now, my condition is managed with a strict diet of quality food. The AWS vets will tell you more about when you come to meet me!
