AWS Summer Camp Registration

Since winter can’t decide what it wants to do, let’s think ahead to warm July days here in Kennebunk and our Summer Camp 2024! We are gearing up for another great summer experience for our area youth and hope to see both new and familiar faces. The best part? AWS Summer Camp registration opens tomorrow, March 1 by 10 am!

About this Program

During the week-long day camp, students learn to be as curious as a kitten, as energetic as a puppy and as agile as a bunny. Our camp weeks are split into Junior (grades 2nd-5th) and Senior (grades 6th-8th) with targeted activities and experiences for each age group. Camp combines engaging activities that take place inside the Youth Programs classroom, outside under the tent, around the sprawling grounds of AWS, and at two animal-related, offsite field trips. We keep our camp group sizes small to ensure that every student has an amazing, memorable, and hands-on experience while at camp!

Every day of camp, students engage their curiosity, use their imagination, and make new friends of all kinds. Daily instruction from AWS’ Youth Programs Coordinator, Miss Amanda, helps students become the best animal advocates they can be. Whether students love snakes or squirrels, horses or house cats, puppies or pandas, AWS camp is the place to be this summer!

Summer Camp Details

Registration for AWS’ Summer Camp 2024 opens online tomorrow Friday, March 1 by 10 am. Tuition is $350 for the week. Due to strong interest in our summer camp program, slots fill up fast. Because there are so many local children who want to enjoy the summer camp experience at AWS, we request that you register your child for only one week of camp. AWS Summer Camp is designed to be a one-week experience, not a full-summer experience. As such, activities and field trips follow the same schedule each week and repeat.

We can’t wait to see your young animal lover!
