The P.A.W.S. Project
Meet an enterprising young lady who is striving to help as many dogs as she can.
Molly will be turning 13 soon, yet instead of a traditional Bat Mitzvah she has decided to take on a special project that means a lot to her. As she described it:
“My project is called called P.A.W.S. – which stands for Precious Animals, Wonderful Shelters. The goal for P.A.W.S. is to help 13 shelters in the New England area by volunteering and collecting items for donations to give to the shelters. My parents have helped me start a Facebook page that I will use to post about my project, and also share pictures and stories of dogs from the shelters I am helping in order to get the word out about these dogs and get them adopted quickly. My goal is to help 180 dogs over the next year.”
We at AWS couldn’t be prouder of Molly’s dedication and care for dogs in need. Molly recently attended our Holiday Open House where she collected donations. We wish her the best of luck as her project continues forward.
