Cat and Kitten Adoption Special!

Throughout May & June the Animal Welfare Society is offering to match a $1 per pound of in-kind donations toward cat and kitten adoption fees.*

For example, a donation of 15 lbs of cat litter and a 10 lb bag of kitten food equals $25 off the adoption fee for a cat or kitten. Please be sure to specify at the time of donation that item(s) are to be applied toward a reduced adoption fee.
Qualifying donations accepted for this special offer are as follows:
Cat litter (any type)
Canned cat/kitten food (all varieties)
Dry KITTEN food (any type, no adult formulas)
Kitten Milk Replacer formula for bottle feeding unweened kittens. “Treats” or supplements, such as “Whiskas Cat Milk”, do not qualify.
* maximum of $50 off . Adoptions subject to approved adoption application. Donation does not guarantee approval. Offer cannot be combined with other adoption promotions.

"Dutchess"

Many thanks to Aubuchon Hardware in Buxton, our newest Satellite Adoption Center! They have offered a temporary home to an AWS long term resident, Dutchess. With a pretty face and a super personality she's sure to find a good home with one of their patrons. Dutchess is a 3 year old spayed cat who enjoys spending her afternoons napping in a window, chasing toy mice and enjoying a chin rub now and then.
Dutchess is a playful and affectionate cat. Her short black and white fur is easy to maintain and she does a wonderful job keeping it well groomed and shiny. This little gem will brighten your day and bring a smile to your face. Visit her at Aubuchon Hardware in Buxton today!!

I love AWS! They took great care of me.

When I was adopted, my family went home with so much stuff! AWS gave them a collar, leash, tag, and information folder. They loved to read the easy to understand training guidelines. My family needed that folder!

Also, AWS took care of a lot of stuff for my family. I was already spayed, checked all over, given rabies vaccine plus lots of other stuff.

If my family needs help, they can call AWS. If they still need help, they can go to AWS Obedience Class. Of course, I'll go along to help them. I love AWS!
