Donor Privacy Statement
Confidential Information including, but not limited to information regarding the following persons, animals and operations shall not be released unless falling within specific exceptions mentioned below.
Employees & Volunteers (including Board Members)
- Personal Information not otherwise publicly available
- Salary/Wages, if any
Donors
- Personal Information not otherwise publicly available
- Amounts & type of gifts unless authorized by donor and approved by AWS Development Department
Clients (Individuals who request and/or receive AWS services)
- Personal information not otherwise publicly available
Vendors
- Pricing, discounts, payment histories, contract information
- This is not meant to prohibit utilizing vendor pricing during pricing or service negotiations.
Animals
- Information regarding animals that are “not available” except when in the best interests of AWS or the animal as determined by Shelter Management
- Specific circumstances regarding the surrender of an animal except when in the best interests of AWS or the animal as determined by Shelter Management
- The disposition of all animals including transfered, adopted or euthanized except when in the best interest of AWS or the animal as determined by Shelter Management
General
- Legal matters the organization may be involved in
- Certain operational and business procedures as determined by management
- Any personal information regarding a PAWS foster situation
