Our thanks to Girl Scout Troop 758 from Lyman for participating in this year’s Project Kitten Challenge. Our thanks go out to Kara, who recently brought a sizable donation to the shelter. She delivered to us food, toys, and blankets to help all the animals who come through our doors. She had a great time on her hero tour, accompanied by her family, and even got to spend time with one of the many kittens who spend time with us. Thanks for your generosity Kara!

Our thanks go out to young Elise, another hero for the AWS. She recently donated a basket full of treats, food, toys, and more to help all of the animals in our care. While on her hero tour, she got to spend some time with one of the many puppies we put up for adoption. Thanks for your generosity Elise!

We’re always grateful to not only hear about successful adoptions from our shelter, but to be the recipient of kindness because of them. Last fall, little kitten Silkie was adopted by Ana and her family. Not only is Silkie doing great in his new home, but just recently Ana returned to us with a donation of cardboard tubes and cereal boxes, items crucial for our enrichment programs. Thank you for your donation Ana, and we wish you and Silkie many happy years together.

Tiger Cubs Pack 308

Our thanks to Den Leader Kimberly and Tiger Cubs Pack 308 from Biddeford, Maine. These industrious lads recently brought us a sizable donation of litter, toys, and treats for all of our cats and dogs. We’re always happy to see young scouts doing good deeds for their community. Keep up the good work boys!

Unlike some kids, little Chloe didn’t take the money she got for Christmas and spend it all on toys and candy and other frivolities. No, Chloe took her money and used it to buy treats, toys, and food for animals in need. Along with a bag of cardboard tubes, she recently donated all of this to the AWS. During her Hero Tour, she got to spend some time with Poncho, one of our resident dogs. Thank you very much for your generosity Chloe.
