Conner’s former owner hated to part with him but when her circumstances changed she reached out to our partners in Georgia, this is what she had to say:
“I love him, but I can’t keep him. I was hoping you could help to get him placed in a loving home where he can be doted on. He is 4 1/2 years old and he is a setter/pointer mix. He’s a big boy at 85lbs, but he thinks he is a lapdog. If you sit on the ground he will turn around and rest his butt on your lap! He knows a few tricks, such as sit, down, stay and paw. I even managed to teach him hi five. He adores his cage and will lay in there even if not asked to. He does not chew things he shouldn’t and he will cuddle on the floor by your feet while on the couch. He really is a sweet boy. He gets along great with children and cats.”
