Ditty – Adopted 07/12

Let’s think back to January 28th, 2018. Why is that date important to Ditty? That’s the day she first came to AWS. That’s right – she’s our longest term resident!

Ditty is a wonderful, friendly, very loving cat. She loves to be near her people and will follow them from room to room for attention. She’s a tolerant gal when it comes to other cats, having recently spent time in our community cat rooms with a gaggle of kittens. She knows to find her own corner to retreat to when she’s had enough. She’s just a pleasure to be around and makes a loving feline companion in just about any household.

Then why has Ditty been at AWS for so long? You see, she’s got a medical syndrome, which must be managed with effective monitoring, a proper diet and regular vet visits. Ditty has Feline IBD, which can be similar in nature to the IBD that humans can have. AWS vets and staff are available to chat more about the condition and Ditty’s care.

Don’t let Ditty’s medical condition hold you back – she’s worth it! Isn’t it time she found a family to be a part of? Isn’t it due time she got a home of her own?

“So loving. It’s wonderful to sit and relax with [her].” Hailey, AWS Volunteer
