Jingle 01/02

Meet Jingle, an 8-year old Australian Shepherd. Jingle came to us as a stray, so we don’t know everything about her past. However, her affectionate and expressive nature has quickly made her a staff favorite. She’s a big people pleaser and loves getting time to play with her people and go for walks with them. Jingle would be happy to share a new home with easy going dogs and gentle, respectful children who will treat her gently. This lovely lass would make a great addition to practically any household. If Jingle sounds like the one for you then stop on by the shelter today to meet her.

The Animal Welfare Society is fortunate to have volunteers who take adoptable dogs through the obedience classes.  They also spend quality time, playing with, walking, and running the dogs. Here’s what some volunteers had to say about Jingle:

“I took Jingle with me to WGME News Center 6 to film a Fur-Ever Friend segment for the morning news. She was awesome in the car and quiet and walks like a dream on the leash but I never expected her sparkling personality to wow everyone in the news room as soon as she walked in and flashed her pearly whites! A mellow lass with personality plus, she loves affection and a comfy place to relax. She is a doll.” Megan C, Humane Educator
