Little Bit 06/09

Meet Little Bit, a 4-year old short-haired cat. Little Bit is FiV+, a condition similar to HiV+ in humans. Essentially it means her immune system is a bit weaker when it comes to fighting off illnesses and that she can’t share a home with cats unless they are also positive. There’s no cure or regular treatment, though it is recommended to have more check-ups with a veterinarian than an uninfected cat. It’s really a shame that Little Bit can’t socialize with many other cats, because she always wants to make a new friend. Every time another cat walks by her cage, she comes to the door and cries and tries to reach out to them. She just wants to play and have fun. Perhaps her new people could help fill the void by giving her lots of attention and interacting with her regularly in a new home. Little Bit is darling girl who will enhance practically any household with her charm and adorable nature. If this kitty sounds like the one for you, then stop on by the shelter today to meet Little Bit.
