Liz 03/24

Meet Liz, a 9-year old short-haired cat. Liz is, well, rather timid. She’s not one to come right up to meet new people or beg for attention. But she’s still friendly. She’s happy to accept pets from visitors and might even perk up a little while doing so. As one might expect, Liz likes to take things easy these days. Give her a comfy spot to curl up in and she’s happy. Liz would make a great companion to have alongside you while you read a book or watch TV or just do nothing after a long day. This darling girl is very gentle, calm, and a delight to have around.

*Update 10/25* – While most anniversaries are a celebratory time, Liz has one coming up that is less so. In just under a month, she will have been available for adoption at our shelter for one whole year. A year! And for the life of us, we can’t understand why she hasn’t found a home yet. She is an adorable and very sweet girl. Sure, Liz does tend to let you know when she’s had enough attention, but it’s not like she’s aggressive. Being in a cage make her a little cranky, but can you blame her? When she’s let out in an office, she loves being able to explore and particularly taking a seat at a large window to watch the world go by. She’ll even assist with some typing work if you let her. Liz might be a senior, but she’s in great health. She does only have one tooth left, so she will need to be on a wet food diet. Due to skin allergies, she will need to be on a special wet food diet that you should consult with your veterinarian about. Coincidentally, Liz’s anniversary with us will also be her 10th birthday. We couldn’t think of a better gift then for someone to finally come along and bring her to a new home. If this darling lady sounds like the one for you, then stop on by the shelter today to meet Liz.
