OJ 09/26

Meet OJ, a 6-year old medium-haired cat. OJ is FiV+, which means he has feline immunodeficiency virus. There is no cure or medication he needs to be on currently; simply being aware of his condition and regular vet check-ups is his best treatment. Many FiV+ cats live long, healthy lives. Only other cats can be affected by his condition, and even then it would only be transmitted by blood or fluids, same as with HiV+ in humans. OJ may look a little tough and rugged, but he’s a sweetie at heart. He is definitely ready to find a new home where he can get regular attention from his people and all the luxuries a house cat enjoys. If you’d like to add OJ to your home, then stop on by the shelter today to meet him.

From Meredith, AWS animal care tech:

OJ is a total love bug, he loves cat nip and his temptation treats. He loves his head and neck being scratched, he chirps for more when you stop. He’s a really cool cat, I just love him!
