Scent Work Level 1: Friday, June 30 – July 21 @ 9 am

This is a four week, 45-minute class.

$115 for the 1 event

Have you ever wondered what your dog “sees” when he or she is sniffing on a blade of grass? Wonder no more – trainer Melissa McCue-McGrath, CPDT-KA will bring a fun, engaging, low-impact activity for you and your dog to enjoy just in time for the holidays. Scent work can be done in small spaces and large fields with equipment you have around your house. Plus, you’ll learn amazing facts about how dogs “see” with their noses – they can find things 40′ under your feet – that’s 4 basketball nets straight into the ground! Best of all, your dog will get tired by sniffing and exploring with direction from you! So if you’re looking for a low-impact sport for you and your dog that you can do anywhere at any time, come learn the foundations of scent work. | Instructor: Melissa McCue-McGrath, CPDT-KA

*This class is open to either graduates of AWS Basic Training, an equivalent obedience/manners group class or permission from the instructor.
