Get started with Basic Training!
For dogs 5 months and older, Basic Training is a 6-week class that builds the foundation for all future training.
Basic Training is the place to start your training journey if you have an adolescent or adult dog. Through positive reinforcement, teams will learn and practice polite behaviors such as sit, down, stay and loose leash walking all while ignoring distractions. Even if your dog knows all the basic cues, there are still many reasons to begin with a Basic Training class. Not only will have a chance to practice around real world distractions, but you will strengthen your relationship with your dog and have fun doing it!
We also offer Small Breed Basic Training specifically geared towards dogs under 25 lbs.
* In-person group classes are for dogs that do not exhibit aggressive or reactive behaviors. These classes may also be too overwhelming for dogs that have extreme shyness. If your dog exhibits this type of behavior, email for more information on the training services and programs we may be able to offer you and your dog with these behaviors.
Unless otherwise noted, basic training classes are forty-five minutes long and last for six weeks.
