Learn with AWS!
Engaging workshops bring together animal-loving families to explore pets of all kinds. Each workshop highlights an animal commonly found as a house pet. Families learn about the animal’s habitat, behaviors, needs, likes and dislikes and more. Participants come away with new strategies and ideas on how to be an excellent caretaker and companion to the animals they love.
During each interactive session, family members of all ages will be able to ask questions, engage their curiosity and learn new fun facts about their favorite animals.
Workshops are a must for families who enjoy learning new things together, animal-loving children who want to broaden their understanding of pet care and anyone who is considering adding a new pet to their family.
Family workshops are offered in-person and virtually via a live Zoom session.
AWS Youth Programs follow the RSU21 (Kennebunk) school calendar. If there is a snow day or if the district shifts to remote learning, AWS programs, including Family Workshops, will not take place in-person. Family Workshops will be available via Zoom in the event of school closure.
