Literacy & Story Hours
Furry Tales Story Hour combines pets, literacy and fun! Toddlers, preschoolers and their families explore the exciting world of animals with stories, playtime, crafts, songs, movement and plenty of time with various pets.
Furry Tales takes place in different locations in our community - including at area libraries. Check out the listings below to find out when Furry Tales is heading to your community!
Furry Tales is free to attend, though donations are welcome. Children (and their families) are encouraged to bring in items they've purchased from our Wish List or made from our At-Home Project Guide.
AWS Youth Programs follow the RSU21 (Kennebunk) school calendar. If there is a snow day or if the district shifts to remote learning, AWS programs will not take place in-person.

Read & Share Your Love Today: Sunday, April 24 @ 11 am
Join us as we celebrate our two literacy programs in one special event, in partnership with Petco Love’s “Read & Share Your Love Today” weekend. This free family-friendly event is geared towards young readers ages 4 - 8.
