Brighter Days

 

Imagine your life suddenly turned upside down.
Imagine everyone and everything you’ve ever known is no longer there.

Now, imagine brighter days.
Imagine knowing that you’re safe.

For 50 years AWS has been here to help animals get to brighter days. And with your support, in recent years we’ve expanded and renovated our facility to include a veterinary clinic and dedicated training space so the pets in our care receive all the attention they may need. But 50 years and 150,000 residents, has taken a toll on our kennels and cages.

Over time, the concrete blocks have crumbled, the floors have cracked, and the paint has peeled. The time to update our kennels is now – it’s time to make our animal spaces bigger, brighter and safer.

We’re removing the chain link kennels. We’re adding large, sun-filled windows in every animal space. We’re increasing the size of our cages to allow for big stretches and comfortable cat naps.

I invite you to become a part of this critical project. The Animal Welfare Society is a place of happiness and of new beginnings. It’s time for our animal spaces to match the spirit of this work that we all do together.
