We adopted Lola just shy of 10 years ago in 2016. She was a very shy girl, who came down from Bangor. Lola was so shy you would almost think she didn’t have much human interaction. She had a couple of medical issues after we brought her home, but we were emotionally invested so we kept her.
She will never be a lap cat, but she has come a long way and is loved beyond belief. We have definitely supersized her as she was under 3 pounds when we got her at 3 years old. She is now at 10.5 pounds at 13 years of age. She is our second adopted cat from AWS and we will definitely adopt again when the time comes, although I am hoping that is a while from now.
