Pet Poison Prevention Month

March is National Pet Poison Prevention Month and we want to share information to help increase awareness of the dangers of pet poisoning. It’s always better to be safe than sorry!

Whether it’s food, medication, household cleaners, or everyday objects, our pets can come into contact with lots of poisonous material. Help keep them safe and protected by knowing the most common pet poisons, how to prevent them, and how to recognize signs of poisoning in your pet. As always, we thank our friends at the ASPCA for their helpful and educational infographs!

If you believe your pet has been poisoned, The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center (APCC) is your best resource for 24 hour, 365 days a year care. Call (888) 426-4435.
