I adopted Candy in Feb 2009 – she was a feisty dog with lots of love and a great personality. She adapted well to her new home, and the neighbor kids liked her so much, they would ring the bell to see if Candy could come out to play. The smaller kids would take her on “walks” around the block where Candy just pulled them along on the leash and occasionally they rode her if I wasn’t looking. Candy loved chewing rocks and digging at the beach and occasionally chasing a skunk or squirrel. While she never caught a squirrel, there was a very sorry skunk once. She aged gracefully and when she could no longer jump onto the couch, she would lay next to it, just to be close. She crossed the Rainbow Bridge June 2020 and I couldn’t have asked for a better dog.
