Hoot
I adopted Hoot on July 27, 2017. I recently had to put my Cat Smokey down of 14 years. 2016 and 2017 was a tough year for my family losing my mother in a automobile accident in July of 2016 and losing my cat of 14 years in July of 2017. It was meant to be for us to have her. I didn’t pick her she picked me by licking my hand and letting me pet her. She has brought joy in our lives once again. I want to thank Jackson Friends Of The Animal Shelter in Jackson, Mississippi for giving her another chance in life and sending her up North and I want to thank AWS for taking good care of such a sweet and loving cat. I call her my Lil Rebel. Everyone loves her name they said it’s unique and different so I kept it. She’s already spoiled. My Aunt Norma who adopted Scotty on July 28, 2017 gave her furry great niece her old dog Codys dog bed and Hoot loves it and she already made herself at home. Since adopting Hoot my father Charlie and I became Volunteers at AWS on July 29, 2017. Hoot loves sleeping under the blankets no matter how hot or cold it is.
