Lucy
I adopted Lucy, formally Patsy, in 2012 from AWS. I remember coming to the shelter and walking down the aisle of kennels and something stopped me in my tracks in front of her kennel. I knew immediately she was the right choice for me. Lucy was only 6 months when I adopted her, she was originally from Georgia, shipped up to Maine with other puppies. I believe she had one little mate in her kennel.
Lucy has changed my life. She’s the most kind, tolerant, child loving, people pleasing dog I’ve ever met. She spends her afternoons basking in the sun, laying by the woodstove with her cat friends and getting hugs and kisses from her human nephew. She’s so loved, so gentle and so appreciated. Lucy is healthy, happy and has a long wonderful life ahead. Thanks to AWS, I’ve found the most special girl!
