Are you excited for Woofstock?! Our family-friendly, dog-friendly, food and beer festival is little more than a month away! With over a dozen food trucks, breweries, vendors, kid’s activities, dog agility and more, there’s something fun for everyone. Of course, none of this would be possible without our title sponsor, Rarebreed Veterinary Partners! We greatly appreciate their investment in and support of Maine’s veterinary community. And we’re excited to have them anchor the Vet Zone again at Woofstock (last year they brought Pup Cups!)

Who is Rarebreed?

Who is Rarebreed, you ask? If you take a look at their website, you’ll find that Rarebreed Veterinary Partners is a thriving community of veterinary hospitals. They operate with core values of love, respect, and fun. Their focus on development, culture and modern technology values pets and the people who love them. Originally founded in Portland, ME, Rarebreed’s partner practices can be found throughout most of the Northeast, including several right in our area. Their biggest hospital is Maine Veterinary Medical Center, offering emergency and specialized veterinary care out of their facility in Scarborough.

Woofstock is always free to attend and is Southern Maine’s only family-friendly, dog-friendly, food and beer festival. Held annually here on the grounds of AWS, enjoy an afternoon of live music, food trucks, local craft brews and lots of doggone fun! Woofstock will be on Saturday, July 27 from 11am – 3pm, rain or shine.

Due to the kindness of Rarebreed Veterinary Partners,there is no cost to attend Woofstock. In fact, all sponsorships, fees and donations raised at the event support pet veterinary care at AWS’ Community Veterinary Clinic and throughout the state. AWS is a statewide leader in providing affordable and accessible veterinary care to pet families whose pets need it most.
