Job Opening: Administrative Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Director of Administration

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Works collaboratively within all levels of the organization and across departments to cultivate a positive culture and team approach to fulfilling AWS’ mission
  • Processes accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit card statements, and reconciles accounts
  • Processes cash deposits for all departments
  • Coordinates and assists with special projects and events
  • Serves as the receptionist for the administrative offices
  • Oversees office supply inventory and coordinates purchasing activities
  • Collects, sorts and delivers mail and packages, handles all postage needs
  • Maintains and updates all subscriptions and memberships
  • Maintains files and licenses for general administration, facilities and vehicle fleet
  • Remains knowledgeable and in compliance with AWS Personnel Guidelines, applicable State and Federal laws and AWS policies, procedures and programs
  • Supports AWS programming as needed

EXPERIENCE/ATTRIBUTES DESIRED:
  • Prior bookkeeping and administrative experience required (1-2 years)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to multi-task
  • Self-starting attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team; ability to work with a variety of personalities
  • Solid computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks
  • Comfortable learning and using a variety of payment platforms and software programs 
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
