Companions for Life Fund
At AWS, our mission is to provide resources to all pets – whether an AWS resident awaiting a new home, or a beloved companion to a community member. We do this through our very own Community Veterinary Clinic. Our Clinic’s services are affordable, keeping veterinary care accessible to everyone.
This fund supports the veterinary care of resident pets, so they go to their new homes happy and healthy, and it supports the Companion Program, a subsidized tier of fees, for nearly all veterinary services, offered to qualified Clinic clients.

Dr. Sharp Memorial Fund
Dr. Don Sharp joined the AWS Community Veterinary Clinic shortly after it opened in 2018. He brought to the Clinic a steadfast presence, a depth of veterinary knowledge and a genuine love for all animals. With his soft-spoken nature and kind demeanor, he was beloved by his colleagues, AWS volunteers and the clients he served. Dr. Sharp passed away after a short illness in late 2021. He is greatly missed.
The Dr. Don Sharp Memorial Fund, established in his memory by his family and dear friends, is dedicated to providing quality and affordable veterinary care to those pets in our community who need it most. Thank you for remembering Don with your generosity.
