To adopt, please stop by the Adoption Center during our open hours: Tuesday – Sunday from 10am – 12:30pm and 1:30pm – 4pm, with the last adoption meet or scheduled appointment at 3:30pm. Tank now Luca
A little update on our sweet Luca (formerly Tank) Adopting him was truly one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. He’s the biggest love bug and has completely stolen our hearts. He loves his snuggles, his toys, car rides, trails, and of course, admiring himself in the mirror Luca loves his mommy and daddy equally, has settled in so well, he also loves his doggie uncle, and absolutely loves having a big backyard to run around in. 13 1/2 years ago, I lost a beloved AWS alum Cairn Terrier to cancer. When I saw a van-load of terrier mutts on the AWS adoption site I needed to “just look”. I could barely stop crying as I explained to the front desk staff how amazing my adopted Cairn had been. From the moment Lily arrived, it felt as though she had always been part of our family. She spends her mornings bird-watching while we enjoy our coffee and loves perching on the arm of the couch to keep an eye on everything. Chester now Petey
I met my best buddy seven years ago. Petey (“Chester” at the time) was the last dog at AWS while a renovation was going on, but he was one I instantly wanted to adopt.
