Odette is a sweet, loyal dog with a quiet personality and a goofy side that comes out as she feels comfortable. She can be shy at first, but with patience, time and love she builds strong bonds and becomes a loving companion who enjoys being close to her people.

"I took Odette to the water ski event on July 3rd with lots of people and she spent a couple hours at my neighbor’s with their larger dog, without my presence.

Having seen her personality emerge and her habits, I feel confident in assessing that she is a very safe dog to have. Though she can be skittish, there isn’t an aggressive bone in her body— her taking food from my hand is the slowest most delicate process.

She shows interest in people she recognizes; those she doesn’t, she remains quite neutral. She will allow people to approach but will not approach them, usually, if she does not recognize them.

She gets 2-3 walks per day and this suits her well. Sometimes she will dart around the yard but with a couple walks, she is more than happy to lounge most of the rest of the time.

She has been quite wonderful all in all."
