Meet The Greens

Meet The Greens, our family of various green parakeets! We currently have an array of these colorful and friendly birds up for adoption who are all looking for their happy homes. Parakeets are social animals who bond quickly to their humans and each other, and often display their affection through dancing, singing, and playing. Parakeets can be trained to recognized faces, voices, and even commands. They loves to step up on your finger or shoulder, and often like to explore their space by flying around and being walked around by their humans. Parakeets make wonderful companions and pets to those who choose to love them!

Like many birds, parakeets thrive in flocks and need to be around others of their kind to stay happy and healthy. As such, The Greens need to be adopted in pairs or groups so that they can always have a friend and someone to talk to. Luckily, the more birds there are, the more music they make! Parakeets can harmonize and therefore make beautiful sounds for all to enjoy!
