These heartbreaking stories represent the work AWS handles every day. While it is natural to think these stories end in sadness, suffering and pain, they all have happy endings.
You are an important part of AWS’ mission. Because of your kindness, these pets — and so many more — have a safe place to turn to when times seem hopeless. Because of your generosity, pets get a second chance at happiness and love. Ultimately, because of you, they find love and a home to call their own.
AWS has always been a safety net for pets in need, a place to go when options are limited, a place to go to alleviate pain and suffering, a place to go to find safety and security.
