Cheyenne

Cheyenne was an unexpected delight to our family. After losing our first family dog last June (2025), we didn’t know if getting another husky for our other dog would be a good idea as she was also feeling the loss.

When we met Cheyenne, she was timid and didn’t allow us to get close. But. we still wanted to try the fostering plan. After a few weeks, she learned to trust us, gaining weight and even played with her new sister Skylar. We finalized the adoption on March 13th as our newest member to the family.

She has grown and thrived in her new environment having freedom to roam in our backyard, daily walks, sleeps with us at night and is loved by everyone. We are forever grateful to have her in our family. Thank you to Animal Welfare Society for giving her a new sense of life and someone to love her.
