Hi, after we had to put our cats (siblings) to sleep for different health reasons six weeks apart which was completely devastating and finding we had a hole in our hearts, we decided to adopt.
Dopey was in the Library in Kennebunk. He was shy and skittish. However, we felt we might be able to give him what he needed: a loving home. After a few rough days (he hid most of the time and wasn’t eating!). He is now living the good life. People food (tuna, sardines, salmon) have put weight on him and he has gained 5 pounds. We change his name to Oscar (after Oscar the grouch due to his occasional biting and scratching when we annoy him!). We are in love!
