Mally was quite sick the day I came to adopt him. As an FIV cat, I felt it was important to get him home as soon as possible. The antibiotic wasn’t helping, so we went to urgent care to have his blood sent out for evaluation. The vet gave him a shot to help his overall condition while we waited for results. Mally, in fact, had a viral infection with no accompanying bacteria. Several huge pills later, he’s almost a new cat. Mally is happy, loves to eat and minds well. His days of trying to survive in a feral colony are behind him.
