We adopted Pebbles a couple of weeks ago. She was classified as a barn cat.
The first week and a half were rocky with her as she transitioned. She would corner us, hiss, and swat. But I wasn’t giving up.
Pebbles has her space and goes in and out as she pleases. And then one day… she did a full 180. She is happy, Not scared, and turned into sweet and a bit sassy but nothing like she was in the beginning. She fits in well with our family. She’s a beautiful cat, and I’m very glad she knows she’s safe. And is happy with us.
