Ruby came home with my older parents to bring them out of their empty nest. A way for them to have a companion whose presence was warm and friendly. That’s just who Ruby is!
My father has late stage Alzheimer’s, and Ruby has become his guardian. My father went from not eating, to eating, sitting up, and smiling everyday because he has Ruby right by his side. Ruby enjoys cuddling with my dad and watching old Dr. Who episodes while enjoying a treat. Welcome home Ruby, you are so very loved in this home!
