I believe every home needs a designated lap warmer. Lucky for you, I’m highly qualified. Hi, I’m Eddie, and I am the textbook definition of a lap cat. I’m affectionate, social and always eager to be close to my people. Whether I’m curling up beside you, purring in your lap or following you around the house, I like to make every day feel a little cozier. So, for this week’s Pet of the Week, let me be your lap cat.

I like to take my role as a lap cat very seriously. If you sit down, don’t be surprised if I’m there in seconds, ready to settle in for pets, purrs and quality time. I love being close to my people and am happiest when I’m curled up on top, beside or near you. My perfect night is a nice cozy cuddle session right on your lap while I soak up all of the affection I can get. And, you can get a loving weighted blanket that will follow you around!
I’ve Got Plenty to Say
I’m a pretty social guy, and I’m not afraid to speak up. I like to chat with my people, whether it’s to ask for attention, tell you about my day or remind you it’s time for more pets. Between my little conversations, headbutts and constant purring, I make it pretty clear when I’m having a great time (which is pretty often). I love being part of the action and staying involved with whatever’s going on around me.
Curious, Cozy and Full of Charm
I love to snuggle, but I’m always ready for a new adventure. I like to explore, check out new spots and keep an eye on the world around me. You’ll often catch me making biscuits, finding a sunny spot to relax, or investigating what you’re up to. I’ve got a great balance of playful energy and laid-back charm, which means I can keep you company whether you’re on the move or settling in for the day. I’m happiest as long as I’m with you!
