Hey everyone, my name is Kimber and it is lovely to meet you all! I’ve been at AWS for some time now with a wonderful foster, and while I have enjoyed my time here, I cannot wait to find a new family to call my own. You see, I’m a German Shepherd, known for all the smarts and loyalty typical of my breed! I care a lot about my people, and have been waiting to meet my new best friend. So, for this week’s Pet of the Week, learn how Kimber wants to be your loyal sidekick!
Loving and Loyal
As I mentioned before, I really want to be your loyal sidekick! It’s a big part of who I am, and I hope you enjoy my presence as much as I enjoy being with you. I know that my new best friend and I will have a very strong bond, not only with how loyal I am but because of my big heart! I love to sit with my people and enjoy pets as well. The quickest way to my heart is a treat, and they’re also helpful in showing off all of my smarts!!
Smart and Intelligent
Along with being loving and loyal, I am a pretty smart gal. I’ve learned quite a bit of cues and tricks, such as sit, stay, shake, stay and wait. Those are just a few of my talents, and I am really excited to see what else I can learn with my new family! My foster says I am a good listener and generally do well on walks, which I really enjoy! I also love a good car ride, especially when I get to go on an adventure as your loyal sidekick!
Fun and Active
Another thing you should know about me is that I love to get outside!! Whether it’s a short walk or a long hike, I really like to get active and explore the great outdoors with my people. I’ll be sure to keep you entertained with my silliness and antics, as I get so happy when I’m outside! I also like to play, as I am particularly fond of tennis balls. My foster and I are still working on my fetching ability, but I really do love chasing down those bright green tennis balls!
