Nicholas Urbanek graduated from the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. After graduation, he completed a rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Denver and then a specialty internship in diagnostic imaging at the Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island (PEI). For the last decade, he has worked with non-profit organizations in Michigan, Washington, and Maine. His interests include shelter medicine, diagnostic imaging, and emergency medicine. In his free time, he enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, backpacking, paddling, and skiing. He has three cats (Mac, Mitch, Luka) and two dogs (Spencer and Hank).
