Woofstock is a FREE community festival hosted by Animal Welfare Society. The event raises funds for pet veterinary care. Woofstock is Southern Maine’s only family-friendly, dog-friendly food and beer festival and takes place Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 11 am – 3 pm at AWS, 46 Holland Road, Kennebunk, Maine.

We are currently seeking the following vendors: breweries/beverage companies, food trucks, crafters/makers, pet services and nonprofits. Please scroll until you find the registration form that suits you. Thank you!

NEW for 2024 Pet Services Vendors at Woofstock!

As a dog-friendly Festival, pets take center stage at Woofstock. This year, we are pleased to open up opportunities for Pet Services businesses to join the Festival, as part of the expanded Agility Zone. Engage with pet lovers, offer your services (such a nail trims or grooming) and support AWS’ mission!

Food Trucks

If you offer fun, eclectic foods, whether it be appetizers, main courses, snacks or dessert, consider joining the fun! With thousands of hungry attendees, often looking to try something new, Woofstock has truly become the foodie destination you don’t want to miss!

Registration fee below reserves your spot and you take home all your proceeds from the day.

Crafters, Makers, Pet Services & Nonprofits

Woofstock is the place to be if you want to share what you do with thousands of pet-lovers! Dozens of local crafters offer everything from pet supplies and apparel to artwork and jewelry, and so much more. Fellow animal nonprofits offer demos and share important information about their mission. If you’re a crafter, maker or nonprofit, please reserve your 10 x 10 space.
(Vendors are responsible for bringing their own tent, tables and supplies.)

Breweries & Beverage Companies

Woofstock’s Beer Garden a huge hit each year! Local craft breweries, cider makers and other beverage companies offer 4 oz tasters of some of their favorite products.

Because all beer is generously donated, all proceeds from Beer Garden tasting tickets provide veterinary care for pets in our community. Tasting tickets are purchased at the event.

Entertainment

Live music is a big part of Woofstock! This year we welcome
Kennebunk River Band from 11 am – 1 pm
Kris Hype from 1 pm – 3 pm

If you offer other types of entertainment (face painting, tarot card readings, live demonstrations, etc.) and would like learn more about how you can join the fun, please fill out this interest form.

Calling all local families and lovers of parades! @awsyouth has a new fun and family-oriented program that’s marching its way to you: Youth Parade Brigade! March with Youth Programs Coordinator, Miss Amanda, and her resident doodle puppy, Bowie, behind the AWS van during the local community parades!

The first upcoming Youth Parade Brigade will be happening Saturday, May 4th in downtown Kennebunk in celebration of May Day! The Brigade will begin to meet at 12:30pm on Water Street in Kennebunk and start to lineup in preparation for the parade to march at 1:30pm. Make sure to look for our colorful AWS van!

𝐅𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬- 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞
With our Doggy Date Program, volunteers take our pups out for an afternoon, an evening, or a whole day on the town! Volunteers treat our resident canines to a leisurely lunch date, a romp on the beach, perhaps a trip to the park or a stop to get ice cream, and even a hiking adventure in the great outdoors. Spending time outside their kennels is vital to the welfare of our animals, which is why our daytime foster volunteers are some of the best! We never take for granted their love and dedication to our resident dogs!

𝐅𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬- 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞
Pets need foster care for a variety of reasons, and luckily our foster volunteers know how to help! Foster volunteers bring our animals into their homes where they might oversee a rabbit’s recovery from surgery, care for a litter of newborn kittens, or simply supply a loving environment to an animal awaiting adoption. There are always pets who will need that extra level of care and attention, which is why foster volunteers are essential to any animal welfare organization. We couldn’t do what we do without them!

𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬
Working with both children and pets takes a special and compassionate person, and that’s exactly how we would describe our Youth Programs volunteers! Alongside our Youth Programs Coordinator, volunteers help children visiting with AWS both inside and outside the classroom with fun games, tasks, education and, of course, animals. With programs like Rescue Readers, Furry Tales, and After School Club, there’s a lot to do around here regarding humane education! We’re grateful for the hard work and dedication of our Youth Programs volunteers who assist in teaching compassion, kindness, and care for all creatures!
