Animals in the Arts: Spring Drawing

Are you and your little one ready for the cutest creativity event of the season?! Now that it’s finally spring and the weather is warming up, we know your creative juices are flowing and that it’s time to make something new. Just like how flowers bloom in the spring and the world comes back to life, so do our ambitions, passions, and creativity. Let your artistic abilities shine in our Animals in the Arts: Spring Drawing workshop!

What is the workshop?

AWS’ Youth Programs Coordinator, Miss Amanda, as well as professional artist, Piper Castles, from River Tree Arts will be hosting a fun and interactive drawing workshop here at the Boston House at AWS! Designed for students in Grades 6+, children will learn and practice drawing skills of springtime animals while also being able to interact with them. That’s right! If your student has ever wanted to sketch alongside some happy and hoppy rabbits, now’s their chance. We find learning to draw is easier when you have a live subject to work with!

How do I register?

You can register your student today for the Animals in the Arts workshop on Saturday, April 6 from 9am – Noon. There are limited spots so don’t hesitate! Registration is through River Tree Arts and is $50 for members, or $55 for non-members. All supplies are included so your little one can have the best experience!

50% of all proceeds will be donated directly to AWS. We can’t wait to see your little artist there and all the wonderful things that they will create!
