Strut Your Mutt

What is Strut Your Mutt?

Strut Your Mutt is a scenic stroll on a Sunday morning with your favorite canine(s) and a few hundred other like-minded animal lovers. It is also the Animal Welfare Society’s largest fundraising event of the year. Due to the generosity of our underwriting sponsor, Kennebunk Savings, all registration fees, sponsorships and pledge money raised from the walk benefit pets needing medical care.

Who Benefits?

Pets like Honey!
Honey came to AWS having received little, if any, veterinary care in her life. As a senior dog, she had periodontal disease. At her first medical appointment, several masses were discovered on her chest. The veterinarian provided a full dental cleaning and polishing. He also removed the masses on her chest. Samples were biopsied, and fortunately, the results came back negative. Honey went home to her new family with a clean bill of health.
