Birds & Small Animals

Thank you for choosing Animal Welfare Society as a place to adopt a pet!

Home | Adopt a Pet | Birds & Small Animals

We regularly have birds and small mammals for adoption, such as guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, mice, rats, and parakeets. And on occasion, we have reptiles or more exotic birds. We collectively call these types of pets “small animals” though they can vary in size from a tiny mouse to a large Macaw. The population of small animals is constantly changing, so if you’re looking for one of these pets, check back frequently.

We look forward to helping to match you with your new best friend and supporting you throughout the adoption process. Adopters are welcome to visit our Adoption Center without a scheduled appointment to meet and adopt pets including dogs, cats, birds and small animals. We are open 7 days a week, from 10 am – 3:30 pm.

All adoptions are on a first come, first served basis. These adoption pages are REAL TIME, so as soon as an animal is adopted, it will “disappear” from the website.
