Abigail Smith has worked in animal welfare for more than twenty years in New Hampshire, New York, Texas and, since 2015, at AWS in Maine. She serves as the Northeast Regional Representative for The Association of Animal Welfare Advancement and on the boards of directors of the Maine and New England Federations of Humane Societies. When she is not working on animal welfare issues she enjoys extreme gardening and making things out of zucchini.
