We brought Jill home in January 2025. She was already 14.5 years old and we genuinely weren’t sure how much time we’d have with her. But we felt that she was very sweet and deserved a comfy home! Even if it might only be for a few months. We’re thrilled to report that our initial estimation was wildly incorrect! She’s been a member of our family for 1.5 years now, is having the time of her life, and is quickly approaching her 16th birthday!
We’re so proud of how far she’s come since that first night in our home. Jill came to us as a timid and nervous lady who wasn’t really sure how to do “dog stuff.” But now she’s learned how to go for walks outside, wag her tail like a maniac, get pets and snuggles, and interact with her sister (a mischievous cat named Wanda)! We’re so grateful to AWS for taking her in and helping us find her! We love our Jilly Bean!
