Hi there!

I started fostering Kiara (Boo) in June. I wanted to have a fun day date with a dog, as my 15 year old cattle dog had recently passed away.
They brought out this little shy, blonde dog, with the biggest, sweetest eyes. We went for a walk and by the end she went from shy to showing her belly and wanting love. That day date turned into an adoption in July.
Boo goes to the beach almost every day now, or hiking in the woods & swimming. She’s my constant and best buddy. She goes with me everywhere. I’m beyond lucky to have found her. Thank you to AWS for their wonderful staff and dog date service;)

While team #awsdog is celebrating their big win (after losing to team #awscat last year), all of us here at AWS is celebrating the support from our community. Amazingly, you all raised $17,904 in one day! This incredible sum will go provide for the dogs, cats and small animals in AWS’ care this time of year. We can’t thank our community enough for their kindness and generosity, not just on GivingTuesday but throughout the season of giving.If you gave to either team on GivingTuesday, we greatly appreciate your support!
