We were in the area on Saturday morning and decided to stop in and we left with the cutest little guy. He was very shy and anxious but so adorable we couldn’t leave without him! The first week for him was very hard as he didn’t know if he could trust us yet or if he was just going to end back at the shelter. He was so tired he would fall asleep sitting up. He slowly got more comfortable around us that first week home. He was so excited to get his first squeaking toys! We didn’t hear him bark for a couple weeks but now he talks to us all the time and he’s very loud! We took him to puppy class to interact with other dogs and people which helped greatly. The first day in class we had to carry him in the building, he was very on edge and nervous the whole time but by the last day he was so excited to be there. The other dog parents were so proud of him! He is such a sweet loving little guy with us but he is still nervous of other people but we are hoping to slowly break him of that to make him feel comfortable!
