The Spicy Brothers: Pepper & Habanero (Ben)

In April, my granddaughter, who was volunteering at the shelter, sent me pictures of Pepper and Habanero and it was love at first sight. I visited them twice and was told they were very “spicy.” Someone even said they were destined to be barn cats as they couldn’t be tamed. I took them anyway and I am so glad I did! They are the sweetest boys! Their personalities are distinct: Pepper is outgoing and adventurous while Ben is more laid back and shy. But both are extremely affectionate and playful. I gave them love and they have given lots of love back!

While team #awsdog is celebrating their big win (after losing to team #awscat last year), all of us here at AWS is celebrating the support from our community. Amazingly, you all raised $17,904 in one day! This incredible sum will go provide for the dogs, cats and small animals in AWS’ care this time of year. We can’t thank our community enough for their kindness and generosity, not just on GivingTuesday but throughout the season of giving.If you gave to either team on GivingTuesday, we greatly appreciate your support!
