As the saying goes, “good things come in pairs,” and we have a lot of bonded pairs here at AWS! What’s a bonded pair? It’s two pets that came in together (from the same home) and enjoy being together. Thus, we adopt them out together so they can continue their relationship and bring each other joy and comfort. The duos we feature here need to families to adopt them together so they can stay together – happily! So, let’s meet our currently available pairs that can’t wait to bring home double the love.
Leo & Nala
These two cats enjoy spending their time together! Nala, the white and brown cat, is a bit more outgoing than her companion Leo, the grey cat. She’ll usually lead the way as they explore their surroundings, but don’t be surprised when it’s Leo who picks the coziest space to relax. Regardless of what they are doing, they are certainly happier doing it together!

Daisy & Skimbleshanks
Both Daisy and Skimbleshanks are a bit reserved. Like many pairs that are bonded, they use each other for support. Having each other for comfort and to help relieve stress makes them happier together! Given time and space, they will blossom in their new homes, but we expect them to always be bonded at the hip, giving each other love and support. Daisy (brown and white tabby) and Skimbleshanks (black and white tuxedo) can’t wait to find their new home – together!

Hansel & Gretel
Hansel & Gretel are a pair of semi-social kittens looking to find their new home together. Semi-social means they haven’t gotten a lot of human interaction in their young lives and are therefore wary of people. These two will need time and patience from their new families to help them blossom into the best versions of themselves! Hansel (black) and Gretel (brown tabby). Being semi-social, the need to go home together is even more important for them to feel comfortable as they explore their new surroundings and settle into their new lives. They are certainly happier together!

Penny & Winston
The stars of our new hit love story, When Penny Met Winston, these two rabbits have stolen the spotlight at AWS! These lovebirds came to us on their own path each looking for a new family. However, they couldn’t get enough of each other while here and have become inseparable. Because Winston (brown) and Penny (white and grey) are so happy together, they will go home as a pair. They bring out the best versions of themselves when they are together. And will bring love and joy to their new home, as long as they’re together.

OJ & Blossom
OJ & Blossom are a pair on bonded guinea pigs waiting to bring their fun bond to a new family. This duo likes to be around each other as much as possible, snacking on the same lettuce leaf, engaging in a fun chase session or napping together! OJ is more outgoing than Blossom, as she tends to seek out OJ for help when she feels uncertain. They are more likely to adapt to their new environment quicker since they will have each other and be happier together!

Appa & Momo
Just like their namesakes, these two guinea pigs have become close pals! They may not soar through the air but these two enjoy scurrying around with each other and chatting. They are friendly and outgoing gals that don’t mind being held. Appa and Momo both like to snack on the same lettuce leaf and chase each other around. As long as this pair is bonded they will be happier together!

Harpo & Repo
Harpo and Repo are a pair of 11-year-old sisters that do everything together! They’re affectionate senior dogs that are looking for a home that’s quiet, without a lot of hustle and bustle. These two are so much happier together and LOVE their squeaky toys. They like to snuggle and pretty easy-going. Both dogs will need time and patience as they settle into their new environments. We do want potential adopters to know that Harpo is available as a hospice adoption, and encourage anyone interested in bringing home this pair to check out her profile for more information.
