Each year, around this time, we imagine what it would be like if our longest-term residents went home before the holidays. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to know they are with their people as the lights twinkle, the snow falls and the season of being cozy and warm unfolds. So this year, we have selected some of our favorite pets for our Home for the Holidays promotion. Make their wishes come true! Eddie, Bentley, Daisy, Kimber and the guinea pigs have been with us the longest and we’ve reduced their adoption fees. Let’s find them a home for the holidays.

Eddie
As our longest term resident, Eddie has been with us for 275+ days! This lovely guy hopes and dreams of endless belly rubs, snuggles and never-ending treats. Eddie would prefer to be the only pet in the home, and his love for being loved will be more than enough! He enjoys a quiet life without hustle and bustle, and wishes for nothing more than a relaxing evening curled up by the fireplace or in cozy blankets with his new best friend.
Bentley
A big ball of energy and fun, Bentley has been with us for 170+ days. He hopes to find his home for the holidays where he can enjoy an active lifestyle that’s full of treats. Bentley is currently in love with the winter wonderland, running through the snow as much as he can! In fact, he hopes his new people will share love for the outdoor – playing fetch, soaking up the sun, taking long walks together, and exploring what the world has to offer. If you like to be outdoors, Bentley could be the one for you. Bentley would like to be the only pet in his new home, as he prefers to fly solo!
Daisy
Miss Daisy has been at AWS for 195+ days, taking in all of the attention and treats she can get! Finding her home for the holidays would mean the world to her as she dreams every day of loving snuggles with her new people. As your coziest companion, Daisy loves to cuddle, go for walks and will keep you endlessly entertained with her silliness. She would like to be the only pet in her new home, but don’t worry – there’s no room for anyone else in Daisy’s snugglefest!
Kimber
Sweet Kimber has been with us for 80+ days and is so excited to find her home for the holidays. As a German Shepherd, she’s as loyal as they come and is ready to share that special bond with someone. Are you ready for snuggles on the cold days and adventures on the warm ones? Kimber is the one for you as long as she can be your one-and-only (be the only pet in the home). If you haven’t already fallen for how gorgeous Kimber is, then meeting her will surely charm you.
Porky & Pumpkin – ADOPTED!
This adorable duo of guinea pigs has been at AWS for 230+ days! Porky and Pumpkin are more than ready for their dream to come true of finding their home for the holidays. These two could munch hay all day, and will even eat their greens right from your hand! While they can be shy and timid at first, these cute piggies will make wonderful friends and companions as they come out of their shell. Guinea pigs are such funny and unique animals. They are smart, friendly, and make amazing companions to their people, and these two are no exception.
Coco & Mary Jane
Having been with us for 100+ days, Coco and Mary Jane can’t wait to find their home for the holidays! These friendly, outgoing and very curious piggies are as cute as can be. They make a fun pair, always scurrying about and excited for their greens. They like to rest in a nice spot where they can enjoy some peace and quiet, before getting up to their antics together later! And they’ll love to hang with you and entertain you! What could be more fun than giving a pair of piggies a happy new home?
Ginger & Luma
A new pair of roommates, Ginger and Luma have been at AWS for 200+ days. They were originally living with other guinea pigs but decided that they’d like to be with each other and are now looking for from the holidays together. Since they’re still learning more about each other each day, what better time to adopt so you can all learn about each other together!! They’re as sweet as can be, and love their peace and quiet throughout the day when they aren’t scurrying about. They’ll bring their peace, love and joy to their new home.
